Research Interests

Computer Graphics and Visualization: big data computation, analysis and visualization; robot motion planning; out-of-core graphics and scientific visualization; isosurface extraction; surface simplification and view-dependent rendering; volume simplification; graphics compression; volume rendering; computational topology and topology-driven visualization.

Computer Algorithms: out-of-core algorithms; computational geometry; algorithmic motion planning; graph algorithms; approximation algorithms; data structures; computational topology.
